Alfa Romeo is leading the on-shore action at this week's 2017 J/70 European Championship as car sponsor of the event for the very first time.

Powered by an all-new 510hp, 600Nm Bi-Turbo V6 petrol engine capable of achieving 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds, Alfa Romeo will be offering visitors the chance to test drive the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, the marque's award-winning sports saloon. Featuring innovative technology and distinctive Italian styling, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is designed with the driver at its heart. Visitors will also be able to get behind the wheel and experience the high performance Alfa Romeo 4C.

Hosted at the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Southampton, the Alfa Romeo logo will also be showcased on both sides of the 42 J/70 boats taking part in the regattas.
